My name is Brittany Schofield and I am the founder here at Bretagne Studio. I launched my brand because I love couture! I always have. I love looking at it, I love wearing it, and I love creating it for you (and for me)!

I have a deep rooted fascination with history and the way garments were constructed in the past. Corsets were my first love and the first thing I worked to make, and they are still the thing I cannot stop creating!

Understanding our past helps up shape the future, and it's the same for garments. To me it is so important to build a garment from the foundation out, this is how you get a stunning silhouette. I take old world couture techniques and use them in my modern designs to ensure we get the look, but also the comfort required when you are spend hours in a corset!

My only purpose is to create beauty and art and share it with as many of you as I can, whether it is content to view or garments to wear <3
